Re-Apply as a Former Student

Students reapplying from suspension, as well as students ready to return after an interruption of at least four consecutive semesters or 13 consecutive months, must apply for readmission as a former student at www.ApplyTexas.org. Please use the chart below to see if you should re-apply as a former student.

Regardless of academic standing, you are required to meet re-entry requirements and deadlines and submit transcripts from all colleges you have attended since your last semester at UH. The $50 readmission application fee must also be paid in order to be readmitted and enroll. Please also note that former students will only be reviewed for their FIRST major choice on the Apply Texas application. Students who do not meet the readmission requirements for their first major choice must re-apply for a future semester.

The University of Houston considers all courses in the readmission grade point average. This includes UH and non-UH courses. Former undergraduates who are returning from suspension will also need to meet college specific re-entry requirements and deadlines.
