Applying to the University of Houston as a transfer is a first step toward your rewarding future.
- The application. Go to applytexas.org and submit your ApplyTexas application for the University of Houston (main campus).
- The $75 Application Fee ($90 for international applicants). Pay the nonrefundable application fee when you submit your ApplyTexas application or mail a check or money order to the Office of Admissions. Your check or money order must be payable to: University of Houston.
- Send your official college transcripts. Send your official transcript from ALL colleges/universities attended. UH requires official transcripts from each and all institutions attended. Official transcripts must be sent directly to University of Houston (main campus) from your college/university. UH accepts official electronic transcripts (e-transcripts) from various secure electronic transcript networks: EDI/SPEEDE, eScrip-Safe, National Student Clearinghouse, JST, Parchment/DocuFide, AVOW, etc. If the transcript service your institution uses is requesting an email address, please use firstname.lastname@example.org.
If electronic transcript delivery is not an option at your college/university, please request for an official transcripts to be sent by mail in a sealed envelope directly to the University of Houston. UH does not accept faxed transcripts or transcripts sent via email attachment by students.
- Send your test scores. All applicants who did not graduate from a U.S. accredited high school or did not graduate high school from a UH recognized English-speaking country will be required to provide adequate proof of English Language Proficiency to receive admission.
