Applying to the University of Houston as a transfer is a first step toward your rewarding future.

- The application. You may apply online using the Apply Texas Application.
- The $50 application fee. Submit your application with a credit card payment or mail a check or money order to the Office of Admissions. Check or money order must be payable to: University of Houston.
- Your college transcripts. Please send updated official transcripts from all colleges and institutions previously attended. Electronic transcripts are strongly encouraged as this helps process your transfer credit in a more expedient fashion.

- Your test scores. If you graduated from a high school in a country where the native language is not English and you have not received an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution, then you will need to submit TOEFL scores.
Please note that if you’d like to apply to The Honors College, you’ll need to submit a separate Honors application as well.
