The Department of Residence Life and Housing offers living/learning communities. These on-campus residential communities place you on floors with other students who have the same or similar majors. This allows students to establish study groups and begin networking with others in many of your same classes and with whom you have similar academic and professional interests.
Theme housing options include wings designated for Business, Communication, Community Service, Engineering and Technologies, Sustainability, Honors College, Life Sciences, 24-Hour Quiet/Intensive Study, Wellness, Leadership and an Arts Colony. Live-in faculty from an array of disciplines/fields works closely with Residential Life & Housing (RLH) area coordinators and resident assistants to provide residents with a variety of fun and educational programs. In addition, live-in faculty contributes to the life of the community by bringing professors and academic deans into the residence halls to give lectures or simply share a meal with residents.
