Freshman Family and Guests

Family members and guests are welcome to attend New Student Orientation. You should register expected guests at the time of the conference registration. This helps us plan for the event, but it is not a formal commitment. On the first day of conference Check-In, all guests' attendance will be confirmed and the guest fee will be placed on your student account accordingly. Family members and guests are welcome at all conferences and, if attending, will follow a separate schedule of events.

Family and Guest Schedule

Family members and guests will attend specific programs designed for them. You will not be available to family members and guests until you have completed your advisement and registration process. Family members and guests will receive an official schedule of events on the day of their conference.

A sample Family Member and Guest Schedule will be available in February 2015.

Guest Fee

The Guest Fee is $30 per adult guest (18+) and will be added to your student fee bill after the guest's attendance has been confirmed. This fee does not include housing, as no housing is provided for family members or guests during New Student Orientation. There is no fee for children under 18.

Guest Housing

We are not able to offer housing to our family members and guests. Guests accompanying you can take advantage of the Hilton Hotel on campus for overnight accommodations or make reservations at any of the surrounding hotels in the area. For more information about the Hilton Hotel on campus, please visit the Hilton Reservation Page and look for the Group Name: New Student and Transfer Student Orientation and Group Code: NSO.
