At New Student Orientation, you will see, learn, and do everything you will need before the first day of classes!  Browse through this website and see what Orientation is all about. 

BEGINNING SPRING 2012: Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirement

To register for a New Student Orientation, students will self-select a New Student Conference date.  You should select the earliest available New Student Orientation date that you can attend.

To select a conference date:

1. LOGIN to your myUH account: myUH.uh.edu
2. CLICK on “Student Admission” on the left side and then click on “New Student Conference”
3. CHOOSE your preferred, available date (note: conference dates fill quickly and are available on a first come, first serve basis)

Summer/Fall 2012: Conference Registration Deadline is June 1, 2012

If you intend to attend the University of Houston and enroll in courses for Summer/Fall 2012, you must select a conference date by June 1, 2012.  The earlier you register for a conference, the greater selection of classes you will have.

The final step in the New Student Orientation registration process is to make payment for your conference registration. The sooner you pay the conference registration fee, the sooner your spot in the program is fully confirmed.  To guarantee your seat in the program, you should make your payment within 30 days of registering for your conference.  Keep in mind that your payment must be made no later than 2 weeks prior to your conference date.
