In accordance with Texas
State House Bill 590 each
state agency, including the
University of Houston System
and its component
universities, must adopt a
written ethics policy
consistent with
Government Code Section
572.051. All
university employees must
acknowledge their
understanding of the
applicable laws and policies
by completing the mandatory
Code of Ethics Training.
Code of Ethics covers
standards of conduct for UH
System employees, as
outlined in SAM 02.A.29,
Ethical Conduct of
Employees. This training must be completed
by all system employees
(this includes faculty,
staff, student workers, and
temporary employees paid
through the payroll system)
upon hire and annually
thereafter.
Enrollment in online training takes approximately
two days to process (depending on the volume of enrollments)

Once the training is loaded to your online account, you may
access it by going to
http://www.uh.edu/onlinetraining.
Online training may be completed
anytime from any computer
with internet access, and
employees may take the
training as many times as
they wish.
