The Association
for Women in Computing honored two women from
the University of Houston's College of Natural
Sciences and Mathematics. Susan H. Hardin (left),
an associate professor of biology and biochemistry,
received a 2004 "Top Houston Women in Technology"
award, and Mehnaz Bhayani (right), a computer
science senior, was awarded a $7,000 Kathi Bowles
Scholarship, given to outstanding women pursuing
careers in technology related fields. |
