Blaffer Gallery: “Trespassing: Houses x Artists”
“Trespassing: Houses x Artists” features designs of houses imagined by nine contemporary artists in collaboration with New York-based architecture firm, OpenOffice. The artists were free to rethink the house as a spatial and social entity and the projects are presented through a variety of strategies including models, sketches, digital media and/or full-scale realization. “Trespassing: Houses x Artists.” Exhibit runs through March 14. Reading Series: Ellen Bryant Voight and Martin Espada
The Margarett Root Brown Houston Reading Series, co-sponsored by Inprint and the University of Houston, continues 2004 with two exceptional authors, Ellen Bryant Voight and Martin Espada Readings. Voight is the author of six collections of poetry and Teasdale Prize winner. Espada is the author of seven collections of poetry and is winner of an American Book Award.
