But used inappropriately or
hastily, both legal and
interpersonal issues can
arise.
Following this course,
participants will be able
to:
- Recognize the
benefits and
consequences of using
e-mail.
- Identify their own
e-mail style and how the
e-mail style of others
determines tone and length
of messages.
- Apply appropriate
e-mail etiquette
techniques while
abandoning previous
practices that resulted
in negative outcomes.
- Gain a greater
understanding of The
University of Houston e-mail
policy.
