The UH Transfer Advising Program (TAP) offers pre-admission academic advising to students planning to transfer to UH after completing their associate degree. TAP’s mission is to reduce non-transferrable hours, to provide a point of contact for general admissions assistance, and to enhance success rates for transfer students. TAP has seven academic advisors representing six UH academic colleges imbedded on-site at 13 community college campus locations:
TAP advisors work directly with students to create a successful transfer path, and to insure that students only take courses required for their intended UH majors while earning their A.A or A.S. degree at their community college. TAP also offers interactive electronic advising through e-mail, on-line chats, and Facebook.
