The Computer Information Systems program provides for the needs of a dynamic and integral part of business and industry. To meet the demands of the current technological era, students gain skills in both technical and business applications, including computer concepts and applications, problem solving, decision making, human relations, evaluation, analysis and communications. Computer information systems specialists and management professionals design, build, and implement software solutions that are the driving force in every business, not-for-profit, and government agency. They're also relied upon to analyze existing systems and discover new ways to optimize their performance.

First, applicants are required to meet general university transfer admissions requirements. In addition to meeting the general university transfer admissions requirements, transfer applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
