The program leading to a Bachelor in Italian Studies at the University of Houston is designed to give undergraduate students a comprehensive and coherent vision of Italian civilization in its various aspects and manifestations. The program, centered on Italian language and culture, is interdisciplinary and includes courses in literature, art, history, political science, and economics. Students majoring in Italian Studies will be able to expand their preparation in one of the several directions the program offers, and to qualify in a wide spectrum of activities such as business, banking, interpreting and translating, international trade.
