Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management

The Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston was established in 1969 by one of the most iconic names in the hospitality industry, Conrad N. Hilton. Consistently ranked one of the top hospitality programs in the world, our students benefit in countless ways from industry connections 40 years in the making, including twice yearly job fairs, a wide range of internship opportunities, and a well-placed alumni network. The Hilton College offers a specialized business degree that prepares students for careers in the world's top hotels, restaurants, resorts, casinos, and clubs. Upon graduation, Hilton students typically have their choice of job opportunities in the United States and abroad and always have a solid foundation for post-graduate work.

The Hilton College is located in a $22.6 million complex which includes an 86-room Hilton Hotel, a convention center with 40,000 square feet of diverse meeting space that includes three large ballrooms and two full-service restaurants. The facility also houses the Hospitality Industry Hall of Honor, five hospitality related institutes and, in Fall 2009, the new Massad Family Research Library and Hospitality industry Archives will be open to students, faculty and industry professionals alike. A food service production area, a student-run gourmet coffee house, a product evaluation and testing laboratory, demo kitchen and computer labs are also an integral part of this unique teaching complex. In addition to serving the public with our professional facilities and staff, the hotel acts as a training laboratory for Hilton College students.
