Academic Advising

Academic Advisers will assist you in developing your degree plan. Where you go for advising depends on your major and the point at which you are in your college careers.

The UScholars Academic Advising Center is designed to assist undergraduate students with core curriculum and Texas Success Initiative information, especially during the first year of enrollment. Students who have declared their majors are served by advisers in the department of their major or college advisers. Pre-professional and Postbaccalaureate students are advised in the UScholars Academic Advising Center.

Although some advisers accept walk-ins, it is best to call ahead to schedule time with your advieor or to make certain an adviser is available.
