National Merit Finalist Scholarship
The University of Houston will automatically award scholarship support to cover the cost of tuition, required fees, room, board, and a $250 per semester book stipend to National Merit Scholarship Finalists who select UH as their first choice in accordance with the rules and deadlines established by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).

The overall scholarship package includes any scholarship awarded by NMSC or any Corporate Sponsored Merit Scholarship. The university's contribution will be adjusted for the recipient of these types of awards. Also, the total room and board portion will be awarded only to those who choose to live on campus; the room and board will be adjusted for those who choose to live off campus.
