Honors College Application Submission Dates

The majority of Honors applicants are admitted for the fall semester; however, admission can be granted for the following spring semester.

December 1:   deadline to apply for admission for the spring semester
December 15:   priority consideration application submission date for the fall semester
April 1:  regular consideration application submission date for the fall semester
July 1:  late consideration application submission date for the fall semester

University of Houston Freshman Admissions deadline for fall entrants:  April 1

*The Honors College admissions committee, beginning in September, meets regularly to review applications for the following fall semester. The admissions committee will continue to review applications for admission until the fall class is filled.  Final decisions for spring admission are made during the first two weeks in January.
