HISTORY OF GERMAN CINEMA: Extra Credit

SEQUENCE ANALYSES: You may earn 2 pts. extra credit for each SEQUENCE ANALYSIS you turn in on a film clip from a required film (maximum = 1 Sequence Analysis per required film) (24 pts.) MUST BE HANDED IN DURING THE DISCUSSION WEEK FOR THAT FILM-NO LATE ACCEPTANCES.

EXTRA CREDIT FILM VIEWING: For one point extra credit each, you may view and critique (using a "Film Evaluation Sheet") any German film--that is, by a German director still holding German citizenship at the time the film was made, even if the film is not in German. For example: only Fritz Lang's German films, not his Hollywood films-but any film by Wim Wenders. SPECIAL NOTE: YOU MAY COUNT NO MORE THAN 2 FILMS OF WOLFGANG PETERSEN OR ROLAND EMMERICH!

**ALL EXTRA CREDIT FILM EVALUATIONS MUST BE HANDED IN BY April 12, AND YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL 12 REQUIRED EVALUATIONS OR ELSE NONE OF THESE WILL COUNT!!**

I will be glad to advise you if you're interested in particular types of films-or you can look them up at http://us.imdb.com/ for more information! WARNING: YOU MAY FIND VERY OBJECTIONABLE MATERIAL IN SOME OF THESE FILMS!!!!
