Steps to Enroll

Follow these steps if you are a continuing UH student to enroll in classes each semester. Preparing for your first semester at UH? Check out our Recently Admitted Students Checklist.

Get Prepared

1. Make sure your UH email "destination" is up-to-date.
   We will be sending important updates about fall enrollment deadlines and other official notifications to your UH email address. It is very important to keep your email "destination" current.
2. Get your myUH (PeopleSoft) ID

Plan your Course Schedule

3. Review the Core Curriculum.
4. Consult an Academic Advisor, if needed.
• Undergraduate Advising
• Graduate Advising
5. Check the Undergraduate Catalog or Graduate Catalog for prerequisites and course descriptions. Do not enroll in a class if you lack the required prerequisites.
6. View the Course Listing.

Register for Courses

5. Register through myUH (PeopleSoft)

Make Payment Arrangements

6. Review payment information and deadlines.
7. Pay your fee bill or enroll in a payment plan through myUH (PeopleSoft)

Note: Things to do on and Annual Basis

** Please note that all students receiving financial aid will need to apply and be approved on an annual basis to continue to receive financial assistance.

• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1 but before March 1. The University of Houston school code is 003652.
• Through myUH (PeopleSoft) , monitor your financial aid application status and confirm your contact information.
• Review scholarship opportunities on an annual basis.
