Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: HDCS 3300 or TELS 3340 or department approval. Development of training philosophy, techniques, programs, and evaluation of results.

TRDE 4344: Computer Applications in Training
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ITEC 1301 or consent of instructor. Computer-assisted instruction, computer-based evaluation, authoring languages, and systems in a training environment.

TRDE 4346: Training and Development Programs
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: TRDE 4340 or department approval. Needs analysis methods, trainer selection, instructional design, and learning principles, methods and strategies.

TRDE 4351: Instructional Strategies and Design for Training and Development
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: TRDE 4340 or department approval. Applications of instructional strategies and instructional design in an industrial training environment.

TRDE 4397: Selected Topics in Training and Development
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: approval of department chair. May be repeated for credit when topics vary.
