Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: junior standing. Methods for analyzing information needs and designing, evaluating, implementing computer-based information systems. Structures and adaptive techniques for analysis and design.

MIS 3369: Information Technology in Organizations (formerly DISC 3369)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: MIS 3300. The expanding role of information technology in organizations including the development and use of information systems, strategic impact, and international implications.

MIS 3370: Information Systems Development Tools (formerly DISC 3370)

MIS 3371: Transaction Processing Systems I (formerly DISC 3371)

MIS 3376: Business Applications of Database Management I (formerly DISC 3376)

MIS 3399: Senior Honors Thesis

MIS 4369: MIS Internship
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing, MIS 3360 and at least one of the following three courses: MIS 3370, 3371, or 3376 and consent of instructor of record. Practicum in a position related to the field of management information systems.

MIS 4371: Interactive Systems (formerly DISC 4371)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: MIS 3360. Techniques for implementing human-machine interfaces for data entry, inquiry, modeling, and data processing systems.

MIS 4372: Transaction Processing Systems II (formerly DISC 4372)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: MIS 3371. Development and implementation of transaction processing systems with emphasis on operating systems and programming considerations.

MIS 4373: Transactions Processing III
