SCM 3301: Service and Manufacturing Operations (formerly DISC 3301)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: MATH 1313. Operations Management conc3epts and techniques: operations management strategy, total quality management, location and layout, forecasting, aggregate planning, materials management, just-in-time systems, scheduling, and project management in small and multinational manufacturing and service organizations.

SCM 3399: Senior Honors Thesis
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: approval of department chair and the Bauer College's Office of Undergraduate Business Programs.

SCM 4356: Project Operations (formerly DISC 4356)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing and SCM 3301. Introduction to the management of one-time complex projects.

SCM 4361: Supply Chain Management (formerly DISC 4361)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: SCM 3301. Theory, concepts, and practices for efficient integration of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to produce goods and services. Effective supply chain management as it relates to increasing competitiveness, market share, and profitability.

SCM 4362: Enterprise Resource Planning (formerly DISC 4362)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: SCM 3301 and credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361. Theory, concepts, and practices associated with ERP systems, which integrate business processes such as procurement, sales, and distribution, manufacturing and financial management, to support decision making.

SCM 4363: Operations in Service Industries (formerly DISC 4363)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: SCM 3301 and credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361. Operations management in service industries such as hospitals, banks, utilities, and other public systems.

SCM 4364: Global Supply Chain Operations (formerly DISC 4364)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: SCM 3301 and credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361. International issues in supply chain operations management.

SCM 4366: Distribution and Inventory Management (formerly DISC 4366)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: SCM 3301 and credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361. Theory, concepts, and practices in integrated distribution and inventory management. Effective coordination of inventory and distribution decisions has a significant impact on overall supply chain profitability in the management of complex, global supply chains.

SCM 4367: Competitive Quality (formerly DISC 4367)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: SCM 3301 and credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361. Principles of quality control including Juran and Deming approaches, control charts, IL STD 105D, and Dodge-Roming acceptance sampling plans and reliability testing.

SCM 4368: Supply Chain Control Systems (formerly DISC 4368)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing and SCM 3301 and credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361. Theory, concepts, and practices for manufacturing systems as an integral part of the overall supply chain, emphasizing the integration of manufacturing decisions with purchasing, inventory, and distribution management.

SCM 4369: Supply Chain Management Internship (formerly DISC 4369)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: SCM 3301, credit for or concurrent enrollment in SCM 4361, and approval of program coordinator. Practicum in manufacturing or distribution management.

SCM 4388: Production and Logistics Management for Small Business (formerly DISC 4388)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing and SCM 3301. Application of production and logistics management principles for small businesses.

SCM 4390: Energy Supply Chain (formerly DISC 4390)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing and SCM 3301. Overview of the physical supply chain that brings energy (oil, natural gas, electricity, nuclear, and alternative forms) from sources to customers, including operations and information management requirements.

SCM 4397: Selected Topics in Supply Chain Management
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing and approval of department chair or program director. May be repeated when topics vary.

SCM 4398: Special Problems
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: junior standing and approval of department chair. May not be repeated for credit.

SCM 4399: Senior Honors Thesis
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: approval of department chair and the Bauer College's Office of Undergraduate Business.
