Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: demonstrated computer proficiency or ITEC 1301. Pixel-based and vector graphics for use in print and digital media.

DIGM 2351: Web Design (formerly GRTC 2351)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: DIGM 2350. Web page design, site planning, interface design, and site implementation.

DIGM 2352: Digital Photography (formerly GRTC 2352)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: DIGM 2350. Digital cameras; photographic principles; image organization, meta-data, evaluation, and correction; digital asset management; creating image portfolios for the Web; use of color management to soft/hard-proof finished photographs.

DIGM 3152: Graphic Production Process Control II Laboratory
Cr. 1. (0-3). Prerequisite: credit for or concurrent enrollment in DIGM 3252. Laboratory activities and experiments related to graphic communications production control.

DIGM 3350: Digital Media Materials and Processes (formerly GRTC 3350)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ENGL 1303 or 1304. Digital media processes and ancillary operations. Materials used in digital media production.

DIGM 3351: Graphic Production Process Control I (formerly GRTC 3351)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Graphic communication production control emphasizing job engineering; techniques used to reproduce varying types of original images; tone capture and correction; proofing; platesetting; and final output.

DIGM 3252: Graphic Production Process Control II (formerly DIGM 3352)
Cr. 2. (2-0). Prerequisite: DIGM 3351. Using graphic communication production control techniques to produce single- and multi-page documents. In-depth study of page layout, imposition, and static and variable-data printing technologies.

DIGM 3353: Visual Communications Technology (formerly GRTC 3353)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: ENGL 1303 or 1304. Use of technological systems in visual communications including design principles, typography, use of color, photography, pixel- and vector-based graphics, print and electronic delivery, and ethical considerations.

DIGM 3354: Video Planning and Production (formerly GRTC 3354)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: DIGM 2352. Writing, producing, directing, shooting, and editing a self-contained audio-visual work.

DIGM 3399: Senior Honors Thesis (formerly GRTC 3399)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: approval of department chair. Independent work in digital media with faculty supervision. May be repeated for credit.

DIGM 4373: Graphic Production Process Control III (formerly GRTC 4373)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: DIGM 3352. Using graphic communication production control techniques to produce full-color documents. Includes an in-depth study of color theory, measurement, correction, modification, management, and separation techniques.

DIGM 4374: Video Post-Production (formerly GRTC 4374)
Cr. 3. (2-3). Prerequisite: DIGM 3354. Producing audio-visual works involving all aspects of production from concept to delivery.

DIGM 4376: Multimedia Authoring (formerly GRTC 4376)

DIGM 4378: Senior Project (formerly GRTC 4378)
