The interdisciplinary studies major is composed of five components: academic foundations, pre-professional development courses, specific B.S. and Coordinating Board requirements for mathematics and science, and the Professional Development Sequence (QUEST). This degree requires 120-139 semester hours. Degree outlines are available online at www.coe.uh.edu/about/quest/ .
See all the information on the Teacher Certification Program (QUEST).
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers courses under four headings: art education (ARED), curriculum and instruction (CUIN), elementary education (ELED), and secondary education (SEDE).
