Industrial Design Major

The program for the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design degree is a four-year program focusing on the design of products for mass production. Because of the similarities found between architecture and industrial design, the two programs share a common first year curriculum. The program consists of at least 132 semester hours. The curriculum includes 81 semester hours of industrial design courses, 41 of which are advanced hours (3000-level or higher). The degree includes the university's required core curriculum and 9 semester hours of elective courses.

Students interested in the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design should follow the procedure for application to the College of Architecture.
