VIST 1300: Introduction to Visual Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite. ENGL 1304. Components on vision and light; the philosophy of art; aesthetics; modes of interpretation; and the use of visual sources in ethnographic investigation.

VIST 3394: Selected Topics in Visual Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: VIST 1300 or consent of instructor. Topics of interest in Visual Studies. May be repeated for credit with consent of instructor.

VIST 4300: Senior Project in Visual Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: VIST 1300 and nine hours from the list of approved course work for the Visual Studies minor. Capstone course for the Visual Studies minor. Project to include either substantial research or internship placement that demonstrates competence in Visual Studies.
