3377: Stage Combat I

instructor. Training in staged combat; unarmed, single sword, and rapier/dagger.
Techniques follow requirements established by the Society of American Fight
Directors.
3378: Stage Combat II
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: THEA 3377 and consent of instructor. Continued training in additional stage weapon disciplines such as broadsword, quarterstaff, smallsword, knife, and sword and shield. Individual students may opt to have a professional adjudicator critique their final exam. Those who meet the Society of American Fight Directors standards receive an internationally recognized certificate of skills proficiency from the SAFD.
