  1. Master's / Doctoral Deadlines
    • submitting final draft of master's thesis or dissertation to the committee
    • submitting signed original and two copies of approved master’s thesis or dissertation for binding
    • ordering caps and gowns
  2. Commencement / Convocation
    Information for some Colleges may also be found by searching the UH Events Calendar using "commencement".

First day of classes.
In general, during Six Week–Second, 2009, classes meet Mondays through Thursdays, plus Fridays July 10 and Friday July 17.

Last day to add a class (online by 11:59 pm).

Thursday
ORD - Official Reporting Day
(12th/4th class day).

Last day to drop a course or withdraw without receiving a grade.

Last day to drop a course without hours counting towards the Enrollment Cap for Texas Residents.
NOTE: Tuition is higher for hours in excess of the cap.

Monday
Last day to drop a course or withdraw with a 'W'.
