Academic and cultural dialogue postponed to February 9. The theme will be the importance of Arabic Language and Civilization, and we will have speakers speaking on the topic, poetry, and cultural entertainment, as well as refreshments. We look forward to seeing all of you there and having you involved in the planning of the event. This event is in support of the newly established Arabic language program at UH.

Our annual banquet will be held in the spring semester (possibly March). This semester we plan to focus on more social activities for the members, such as bowling, maybe paintball shooting, going to game rooms like Gillian's, etc, so keep posted for those events.

There are several cultural functions that the Council of Ethnic Organization and the International Student Organizations are hosting, and there is a large chance that we will participate in some of these activities. We will keep you posted, and of course we hope to get you involved in presenting our culture to the UH community.

We also plan to have several social activities this semester, such as bowling, maybe paintball shooting, going to game rooms like Gillian's, etc, so keep posted for those events.
