Proceeds from the Second Annual AAS Scholars Banquet will go to the

African American Studies Program Scholarship Fund. This fund supports

the Incoming Freshman and New Transfer Student Scholarship, the

Debbie Haley Scholarship, the Academic Excellence Award and the AAS

Academic Support Grant. All of the AAS Scholarships are available to any

and all qualified UH students, without regards to race, color, religion,

national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status or sexual orientation.
