Mission Statement
The American Advertising Federation at the University of Houston has been formed for the express purpose of educating our members in the art of advertising. It is this chapter's mission to not only foster a strong educational foundation for members, but to also invest time, money, and energy needed to create a cohesive, energetic atmosphere at the University of Houston where Advertising is learned, practiced and applied innovatively in real life situations.
Brief History of AAF at UH
According to UH historians, AAF has been on campus for many years. After being dormant for a few years, AAF-UH is back with a vengeance, thanks to the recent resurgence that began in the fall semester of 2006.
AAF-UH has four main goals:
- Expose students to the advertising industry,
- Promote networking with industry professionals,
- Encourage career goals and
- Have fun in the process.
